Final Days......Goodbye Lebanon

Phase One of the "Great Move" is complete. Our house in Lebanon has been cleared out. The moving company showed up on Tuesday to start the process. There were 4 guys who stormed the house and had everything packed in one day. They loaded everything on Wednesday (in between rain showers). They backed there big 'ole moving truck (semi truck) down our driveway. Now that is skill.

Earlier this month, our new truck was taken away for transport to Fairbanks. We'd only had it a month when I had to say goodbye for a few weeks.....
Looking at the empty house was sad. That had been our first house. We've lived there for nine years. Wow, the time does fly by. We've got lots of wonderful memories to take with us. That's what is most important.

On Friday, June 18th, we hit the road on our journey to Fairbanks, AK. Me, Deven, Mitch, Gunner, Caddis & Maggie all in our 27' motorhome. This should be interesting......
